Using the File Discussion Pane
The File discussion pane allows you to access discussions for files stored in Document. After adding the File discussion pane to Dashboard, you can click the link in the Discussion Title column to view a discussion. You can then use the buttons in the Open Discussion window to view, reply, edit, or remove a discussion.
You can click a column to sort the grid by that column. You can also drag a column header to another place in the grid to rearrange columns.

Default view for the Open Discussion window. Click to switch back from Expanded Thread View or to refresh the discussion to display any posts created after the window was opened. |
Whisper |
Select to switch from Thread View or to refresh the discussion to display any posts created after the window was opened. |
Discussion Title |
Select to open the Document Discussions window for the file and displays the list of discussions. |
File name |
If the discussion is open, select Close Discussion to close the discussion. If a discussion has been closed, select Open Discussion to re-open the discussion. These are available to you based on your administrative rights. You cannot add new replies to a discussion that has been closed. |
Entity name |
Static display if a discussion was marked as a "sticky" discussion. A post marked as sticky retains the original thread at the top of the discussion list regardless of any subsequent discussions posted. |

Select to open the Reply to Discussion window. |
Created By |
Select to open the Edit Discussion window. |
New Replies |
Select to remove the post from the discussion list. |
Close |
Select to close the Open Discussion window. |

Reset Grid |
Returns the grid to the default settings if you have made any modifications to the grid |
Refresh Grid |
Updates the list of files to show any additions, changes, or deletions that have occurred since you opened the grid |
Expand All |
Expands the groups you have created in the file list, if any |
Collapse All |
Collapses the groups you have created in the file list, if any |
